Willamette Valley Intergroup Inc. is an AA service office that involves partnerships among groups in a community – just as AA groups themselves are partnerships of individuals. (“AA Guidelines”, www.aa.org) Our primary purpose is to carry the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers and to serve AA groups and meetings in Districts 4.
We accomplish this goal online by providing updated meeting information, access to our 24-hour hotline phone number, listing AA events and providing a bi-weekly newsletter with events and information. If you want to sign-up for the newsletter, please use the email signup bar at the top of the page or email AAeventsWVI@gmail.com.
At our Central Office location, we provide printed meeting guides, General Service Conference Approved AA Literature, AA coins, the facilitation of 12 Step calls, and service positions to help keep our office running.
What is an intergroup? An intergroup is an AA service office that involves partnership among groups in a community – just as AA groups themselves are partnerships of individuals (“AA Guidelines”, www.aa.org). It is funded by 7th tradition donations made by individual members as well as contributions from AA meetings and groups in District 4.
Our 7th tradition states that “Every AA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.” (12 x 12 page 160, www.aa.org)
Intergroup Central Office is able to stay open and provide services to our local AA community through your time and monetary donations. Thank you for all your support!
