Be a Beacon of Hope – Volunteer with Willamette Valley Intergroup

Every day, people in our community reach out for hope, answers, and connection. You can make a real difference in someone’s life by stepping into service with the WVI Central Office — the heart of AA support in the Willamette Valley( aasalem.org)

📞 Why Your Service Matters

When you volunteer, you become a vital lifeline. You’ll:

  • Answer calls on our 24-Hour Hotline, offering direction to meetings and compassionate support. 503-399-0599
  • Connect struggling individuals with recovery resources and the 12-step network.
  • Help keep our central office running smoothly, making sure AA services remain strong and available.

Your presence on the phone — even for just one shift — can be the turning point in someone’s journey.

🕰️ Flexible Ways to Serve

We have volunteer opportunities that fit all kinds of schedules:

  • Daytime Central Office Shifts
  • Monday – Friday: 10 AM – 2 PM & 2 PM – 6 PM
  • Saturday: 10 AM – 2 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Serve during office hours answering the hotline, helping visitors, and supporting AA community needs.

  • Night-Time Phone Support

Be there when people need support most — evenings, weekends, and overnight:

  • Mon–Fri: 6 PM – 10 AM
  • Saturday: 2 PM – 8 AM
  • Sunday: 8 AM – 10 AM

We need volunteers to fill scheduled shifts or be on our substitute list — could this be you?

💛 Be Part of Something Bigger

Volunteering isn’t just about answering phones — it’s about being part of a community that:
