Helping people transition from supervised settings into Alcoholics Anonymous with support, encouragement, and connection.

Bridge the Gap is designed to help people at a high risk time as they are leaving the supervised settings of jails, treatment centers, and hospitals connect with Alcoholics Anonymous and begin building a support network in recovery.

The Bridge the Gap Coordinator maintains a list of male and female AA volunteers from various home groups who are ready to provide temporary support during this important transition period.

Temporary Contacts May Help With:

Transportation to AA Meetings
Up to six rides to and from AA meetings only.

AA Literature
An AA Big Book, pamphlet, and other approved AA literature, as needed.

Moral Support and Accountability
Encouragement, meeting connection, and support while getting established in AA.
